A proud graduate of The University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Prewitt has practiced Gynecology in the North Dallas/Plano area since 1996 following a prestigious fellowship at Barnes Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After earning her B.S. degree in Chemistry, graduating cum laude from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, she served both her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University Medical Center, Barnes Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri. During her tenure, she received a faculty appointment at St. Louis University where she was awarded “Teaching Resident of the Year” for three consecutive years.
